Bone Pain

I am 46 yr female. I have been getting bone pains & low backache off and on. Dr says, there is no problem. Pl can someone tell what should I be eating for bettering my bone health.

    Hi! I am 56 and for last 10 yr have been taking
    – 1 glass milk (skimmed)
    – a bowl of curds
    – 1 hard boiled egg (white + yellow)
    – 15 min exposure to sun light
    – Calcium supplement advised by my doctor

    I also had similar complaints and on doing DEXA test, was detected to be osteoporosis. currently under treatment for the same.
    Pl ask your doctor whether he suspects osteoporosis in you.

    I used to get bone pains; my doctor advised me to take “paya” soup (bone soup) at least 3 times in a week. I am noticing good difference in 2 months only. I can walk fast and long now

    You need to take calcium rich foods such as milk & milk products, cereals like ragi, rajgira seeds, all pulses & legumes, green leafy veg. like methi, math etc., nuts & oil seeds like til, rai, jeera etc. & if you are a non veg. eater then the foods rich in calcium are egg, dry fish etc. All this food can be beneficial for your bone pains & back pains. include all this thing in your diet as well as do some aerobic exercise like 10-15 mins walking every day.
