I faced the same problem. Of course a good nourishing diet with supplements of iron and calcium are a must. My family doctor, taught me the flow of milk is stimulated by suchlinkg of the baby. And when we don’t get enough milk, we give upp soon and give top feed. Allowing the baby to suckle for at least 10 min stimulates the hormones and causes milk to be produced.
Try this, I am sure it will work.
    All the best.

Production & flow of milk is dependent on two hormones. The flow of milk is stimulated by suckling of the baby. After about 10-15 minutes of suckling milk flow begins. Most mothers stop before that as child is crying. Don not despair then – allow the baby to suckle for more than 10 minutes and the flow will start. Of course iron and calcium supplements have to be continued till breast feeding is on.

Eat lot of fruits and lots of water and keep trying by letting child suckle. most important do not get frustrated; keep cool. milk flow also happens when you are in good spirits.
