The person who suffer from kidney problems, they needs to limit their protein, dairy, phosphorus, potassium and sodium intake. It is depend on the patient’s stage of kidney disease, the above food groups should be monitored, reduced, or completely avoided.
Normal blood levels of potassium help to keep heart beating steadily. If kidneys are not functioning for longer time, the potassium levels are increases, which is dangerous for heart. Cabbage is a good source of phosphorus, therefore it should be restricted to the kidney patient.
