Food gives our bodies the nutrients they need to stay healthy, grow, and work properly. Foods are made up of six classes of nutrients. Nutrition means getting enough macronutrients and micronutrients. Macronutrients contain Proteins, Carbohydrates, and Fats. Micronutrients include vitamins, water and minerals. Each of these nutrients has its own special role in the body.
Nutritious-All fruits and vegetables, omega 3 rich foods-walnut, flaxseeds, fish-salmon, tuna, whole grain, oats, brown rice, whole wheat pasta, low fat milk and milk products, meat, chicken, egg.
Non-nutritious-Fried, salty, sugared and fat, refined carbohydrates-white rice, white bread this all foods are non-nutritious.
