    YES. There is to different cholesterol LDL and HDL Cholesterol. LDL cholesterol is bad. and HDL cholesterol is good. So you have to choose the HDL cholesterol. That you get from 1.monounsaturated fats-present in nuts, mustard oil, groundnut oil, sesame oil, olive oil and rice bran oil. 2.Polyunsaturated omega-3 fats-present in cold water fish and few vegetable oils (flax seed, walnut and canola) Other food source of omega-3s include whole grains, soy, legumes, nuts and oil seeds and green leafy vegetables.
