How to curb acidity? what are the food items that we should avoid.

    What to eat & what to avoid is very important for curb the acidity. So follow this guidlines to control acidity.

    Do:
    • Eat carbohydrate rich foods like rice, oats, barley & all other whole grain, because they are easily digestible.
    • Eat more fruits & vegetables, in form of salads, soup & chats
    • Eat 6 small meals in a day, it helps in digestion
    • Eat dinner 2 hours before bed time, it will avoid acidity.
    • Include foods in your diet, such as cumin seeds, basil leaves (tulsi), jaggery, kokam juice, Raita, butter milk, mint, ginger & vanilla ice cream for curb the acidity.

    Avoid:
    • Eating of fried, junk & spicy food.
    • Avoid eating of protein rich foods such as milk & milk products at late night.
    • Avoid caffeine & alcohol.
    • Over eating & fasting
